Rella Ree Lyons

Rella Ree Lyons, 87, of North Maple Street in Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2008 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Ingle, Kentucky on March 23, 1921, daughter of the late Joseph Richard "Duley" and Lola Scales Lyons. She was retired from the Amalgamated Clothing and Textiles Company in Galion, Ohio. She was a Christian and of the Baptist belief. She is survived by one sister, Beatrice Henderson of Stanford, KY, one sister-in-law, Clara Lyons of Florence, KY and several nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, William, Arnold and Arvil Lyons and one sister, Exie Jasper. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. John Zupancic officiating. Burial will be in Hudson-Weddle Cemetery in Faubush, Kentucky. Visitation will be after 10 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
