Scarlett Shade Jones

Scarlett Shade Jones, 25, of Brodhead, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2008. She was born in Richmond, Kentucky on September 16, 1983, daughter of Michael Jones and Mary Jane Price Jones. She was a college student at Eastern Kentucky University. She is survived by her father, Michael & (Gail) Jones of Mt. Vernon, KY, her mother, Mary Jane Jones of Brodhead, KY, two brothers, Jacob Jones of Brodhead and Jeremy Shawn Jones and his companion, Natalie Albright, one step brother, Joey Bullock of Mt. Vernon and one step sister, Judy Mason of Pine Hill, KY, maternal grandmother, Marion Price of Somerset, paternal grandmother, Mary Ida Jones of Mt. Vernon and several aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Gary Earl Shepherd, maternal grandfather, Stanley Price and paternal grandfather, Hewitt Jones. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Shelby Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 PM Friday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
