Sandra Spears Drury

Sandra Spears Drury, 67, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015. She was born in Bethelridge, Kentucky on October 17, 1947, daughter of the late Theodore and Ruby Wesley Spears. She retired from Great American Insurance Company and was a member of Science Hill United Methodist Church. She is survived by one son, John & (Lori) Drury, one daughter, April Akers, both of Cincinnati, OH, two brothers, Ken Wesley of Somerset and Arnold & (Terri) Spears of Waynesburg, KY, four sisters, Lillian Wesley of Bethelridge, Kaye Wesley of Somerset, Faye Wesley and Betty Spears, both of Eubank, grandchildren, Zackery Akers, Anthony Akers, Kori Drury, Tyler Fuhimeister and Peyton Drury and great-grandchildren, Lillie Ann Akers and Asher Akers. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Arvillee Spears, Claudie Spears, Johnny Spears, who was her twin brother, David Spears and Clarence Spears and one sister, Mary Ada Ashbrook. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Vaughn and Bro. David Green officiating. Burial will be in Bethelridge Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 AM Saturday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
