Deloris Marcelene Stevens

Deloris Marcelene Stevens, 81, of Cross Road in Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2009 at University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was born in Lincoln County, Kentucky on September 8, 1927, daughter of the late Lonnie and Gertrude Taylor Adington. She was retired from General Electric. She is survived by one son, Dwight Stevens of Eubank, one daughter, Margaret Huber of Eubank, one sister, Margie Wilhelm of Cincinnati, Ohio, six grandchildren, Mark Stevens, Marcie Chansler, Michael Stevens, Kelly Gregory, Daniel Stevens and Brian Huber, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Stevens, who died on January 16, 1994, her parents, one son, Darrell Stevens, four brothers, Clinton Adington, Bobby Adington, Leo Adington and Darwin "Doc" Adington and one sister, Marlene Haggard. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Monday, January 5, 2009 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Arnold officiating. Burial will be in Highland Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
