Oma Mae Pruitt

Oma Mae Pruitt, 88, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Jean Waddle Care Center. She was born in Bryantsville, Kentucky on December 27, 1926, daughter of the late Lee and Zona Ray Graham. She was a member of Science Hill Methodist Church and the Gideons International Auxiliary for 54 years. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, John T. Pruitt Sr., two sons, John Pruitt Jr. & (Carrol) of Somerset and Ben L. Pruitt & (Vickie) of Atlanta, GA, two grandsons, Brandon Pruitt and Aaron Pruitt and one brother, Eddie Graham & (Vickie). She was preceded in death by her parents and six siblings, Sadye Hockney, Helen Searcy, Bud Graham, Buford Graham, Bobby Graham and Harold Graham. A funeral service will be held at 7 PM Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. John Pruitt Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery at 10 AM Friday, May 8, 2015. Visitation will be after 5 PM Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Donations may be made to the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
