Lorene Denny

Lorene Denny, 80, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Lincoln County, Kentucky on December 8, 1934, daughter of the late Gene and Ludenia Kidd Hodge. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She is survived by twelve children, Betty & (Ralph) Padgett, Johnny & (Rosalee) Denny, Dennis & (Bonnie) Denny, Margie & (Nick) Renaker, Donnie Denny, Peggy & (Cub) Ellison, Stevie Denny, Cheryl & (Jr) Caudill, Curtis & (Lacey) Denny, Jeff Denny, Karen Denny and Rose & (Marvin) Rayborn, twenty seven grandchildren, forty nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Larry Ralph Denny, who died in infancy and five grandchildren, Michelle Rayborn, Daniel Denny, Mark Denny, Aaron Denny and Joshua Denny. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Jack Stallsworth officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Christian Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
