Forest Gene Singleton, 63, of Clear Fork Road in Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2009 at his residence.
He was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on May 18, 1945, son of Zella Wesley Singleton and the late Lemont Singleton. He was retired from Lowe's as an appliance salesman and attended Singletontown Church of God. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served during Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Tucker Singleton, whom he married on February 18, 1994, one daughter, Valerie Hall & (Scott Hodge) of Eubank, three step children, Bonnie & (Pete) Russell of Somerset, Sandie & (Tracy) Watson of Ardmore, OK and Rodnie & (Stacie) Keith of Somerset, his mother, Zella Singleton of Eubank, four brothers, Larry & (Jenny) Singleton, Loyal & (Carol) Singleton, Bobby & (Barbara) Singleton and Clyde & (Sue) Singleton, all of Eubank, one sister, Glenda & (Jimmy) Griffin of Eubank, eight grandchildren, Cheyenne Hall, Jacob New, Chace & (Amber) Shadoan, Sosha Shadoan, Jessica Gentry, Jason Gentry, Jarrett Keith and Jayden Keith, a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at Singletontown Church of God with Bro. Ray Arnold officiating.
Burial will be in Singletontown Cemetery with military honors by American Legion Post #38.
Visitation will be after 6:30 PM Monday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
