Ruby Lee Roe

Ruby Lee Singleton Roe, 78, of West Ridge Road in Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2009 at Britthaven Nursing Home. She was born in Eubank, Kentucky on December 15, 1930, daughter of the late Clyde Elmer and Edna Louise Clark Singleton. She was a salesclerk and a member of Eubank Baptist Church. She is survived by two brothers, John R. Singleton of London, KY and Lester Singleton of Somerset, four sisters, Esther Burton of Yakima, WA, Thelma Gundlach of Dayton, OH and Martha Blevins and Judy Williams, both of Eubank, three grandchildren, Sonya Crabtree of Somerset, Tammie Shultz of Nancy and Amanda Keith of Somerset and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Hime, her second husband, Charles Roe, whom she married in the summer of 1959, her parents, one daughter, Angela Hime Reed, son-in-law, Dean Reed and one infant brother. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, January 10, 2009 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Richard West officiating. Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
