Robert Henry Davidson

Robert Henry Davidson, 86, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away Monday, January 19, 2009 at Golden Living Center in Stanford, Kentucky. He was born in Perry County, Kentucky on August 13, 1922, son of the late Green Berry and Mary Napier Davidson. He was a factory worker for General Motors and a member of Eubank Church of Christ. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by two sons, Lloyd & (Donna) Davidson of Lawton, OK and Larry & (Debbie) Davidson of Wichita Falls, TX, two daughters, Judy & (Virgil) Evans of Salina, TN and Janice & (Larry) McAninch of Waynesburg, eight grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hester Loraine Caldwell Davidson, one daughter, Mary Davidson, one brother, Carl Davidson, two sisters, Etta Fletcher and Fern White and one great-grandchild. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Friday, January 23, 2009 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Harley Davidson and Bro. Ferlin Price officiating. Burial will be in Goochtown Cemetery with military honors by American Legion Post #38. Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
