Edna B. Woodall

Mrs. Edna B. Woodall, 71, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Monday, January 19, 2009 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital after a long struggle with cancer. She was born in Piney Grove, Kentucky on May 15, 1937, daughter of the late Arthur and Martha Meece Bradley. She was a homemaker and a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church #1. She is survived by one daughter, Beverly Elaine Woodall Merritt and (Ollie) of Poplarville, KY, two granddaughters, Shauna Merritt Poynter and (Rickey) and Sara Merritt of Somerset, two brothers, Rev. Edward Bradley and (Emmaline) and Almond Bradley and (Anna), four sisters, Thelma Colyer and (William), Wilma Ridener and (Jack), Betty Loveless and (Earl) and Audrey Phelps and (Carl), all of Somerset. She will also be missed by two very special friends, Judy and Russell Molden as well as many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Omer C. "Clifford" Woodall, whom she married on December 23, 1954, her parents and two sisters, Rose Mae Bradley and Mildred Cook. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, January 24, 2009 at Piney Grove Baptist Church #1 with Bro. Doug Eggers and Bro. Larry Merritt officiating. Burial will be in Piney Grove Cemetery #1. Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
