Kenneth Leland Lawson

Kenneth Leland Lawson, 54, of Lancaster, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 7, 1960, son of the late Alonzo Jeremiah and Mae Dell Sims Lawson. He was an automotive mechanic. He enjoyed cleaning and working on cars, NASCAR racing and motorcycles. Kenny was known by few, loved by all. He is survived by his wife, Amanda Addy Lawson of Lancaster, two daughters, Kimberly Lawson "Little Andy" Newport of Sunbright, TN and Cheyanne Lanette Lawson of Lancaster, KY, three grandchildren, Taylor Jean, Olivia Annette and Peyton Andrew, all of Sunbright, TN one brother, Jimmie & (Linda) Lawson of Eubank, one sister, Charlotte & (Vernon) Doan of Livingston, KY, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Danny Dale Lawson. A celebration of Kenneth's life will be held from 5 PM to 7 PM Monday, June 15, 2015 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
