David Bishop

David Bishop, 62, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Friday, June 12, 2015 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Jean Waddle Care Center. He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on February 10, 1953, son of the late Earl and Ida Elizabeth Hall Bishop. He was retired from General Electric and was an avid striper fisherman. He was a Christian. He is survived by two sons, Bryan Conley Bishop & (Kendra) and Bo Jarad Bishop & (Alison Hunley), both of Somerset, one brother, Kerry Bishop & (Karen), three grandchildren, Haggan Bishop, Shaw Bishop and Willow Bishop, two step grandchildren, Ethan Layne and Hailey Layne and special friend, Larry Rose. Visitation will be after 1 PM Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 3 PM Sunday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Brian Whitaker, Scott Tipton and Bro. Clyde Strunk officiating. Donations may be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
