Ralph Vernie Ashley

Ralph Vernie Ashley, 70, of Bethelridge, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 12, 1944, son of the late Mark Leonard and Roxie Dalton Ashley. He was a farmer and a musician. He is survived by one son, Jimmy V. Ashley of Bethelridge, one daughter, Terry Ashley-Padgett of Waynesburg, three sister, Helen Vest of Cincinnati, OH, Shirley McGinnis of Bethelridge and Loretta Jean Brown of Casey County and two grandchildren, Mark Alexander Ashley and Tera Mae Padgett. He was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Mae Cochran Ashley, his parents and two brothers. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Powell officiating. Burial will be in Bethelridge Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
