Otto Taylor

Otto Taylor, son of Minnie Burdine Taylor and the late James Morton Taylor, was born in Line Creek, Kentucky on June 15, 1948 and departed this life on February 18, 2006 at the age of 57 years. He was a coal miner and of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife, Valerie Arthur Taylor of Somerset, whom he married on April 19, 1973, his mother, Minnie Taylor of Somerset, a son, Jamie Otto Taylor and (Christal Dixon) of Somerset, two daughters, Brandy & (Troy) Carender of Jabez and April & (James) McKinney of Somerset, two brothers, Ed & (Effie) Taylor and Joe & (Melanie) Taylor both of Somerset, two sisters, Sis & (Claude) Abbott of Burnside and Penny & (Byron) Brown of Somerset, two grandchildren, Bryce and Chasity McKinney, a step grandchild, Evan Ping and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. A funeral service will be at 11 AM Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Cloud officiating. Burial in Adkins-Arthur Cemetery. Visitation after 6 PM Tuesday. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
