Henry Taylor May

Henry Taylor May, 79, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Friday, June 19, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Waynesburg, Kentucky on October 3, 1935, son of the late Willis and Flossie Austin May. He was a retired airline pilot for American Airlines. He was also a bush pilot in Alaska, Civil Air Patrol, flew a sea plane and was involved in search and rescue operations. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines. He is survived by one son, Michael May of New Lenox, IL, four daughters, Michele Natale of Plymouth, MA, Tammy May of Blanchard, ID, Cindi May Becker of Placentia, CA and Gypsy May of Groveland, FL, two brothers, Gerald May and Jimmy Lee May, two sisters, Carolyn May and Betty Jo May, nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and six brothers and sisters, Eugene May, Odell May, Charlene May, Wilma May, Alma May and Laferne May. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Newman officiating. Burial will be in Pilot Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Monday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
