Shirley J. Privett Anderson

Shirley J. Privett Anderson, 48, of Eubank, Kentucky, won her battle from a lengthy illness on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at her residence. She was born in McCreary County, Kentucky on September 28, 1966, daughter of the late William Oliver and Ella Rose Privett. She was a homemaker and a member of Cuba Community Church of God. Shirley enjoyed her pen pals. She is survived by her husband, Marty Wayne Anderson, whom she married on December 5, 1987, two children, Christopher Michael Lee Anderson and Courtney Meranda LaKayla Anderson, all of Eubank, three sisters, Sue Privett of Corbin, KY, Linda Privett of Whitley City, KY and Glenna & (Dwight) Davis of Monticello, KY, two brothers, Artman & (Garnett) Privett of Lawrenceburg, IN and Leonard Privett of Whitley City, KY, two sisters-in-law, Eileen Roberts and Sherry Anderson, both of Eubank, a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, James Privett and two brothers-in-law, Auther Roberts and Randall Anderson. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Monday, July 13, 2015 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Troy Roberts and Bro. Letcher Napier officiating. Burial will be in Cuba Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10 AM Monday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
