Mary Margaret Simpson

Mary Margaret Simpson, 84, of Eubank, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on November 6, 1930, daughter of the late Trumie and Naomi Smith Anderson. She retired from Palm Beach after 41 years and was a member of Singletontown First Church of God. She enjoyed going to church, singing, crocheting, quilting, embroidering, circle word puzzles and cooking. She is survived by her husband, Arnold Simpson, whom she married in 1994, one sister, Shirley Napier of Eubank, whom she raised, four step children, Darrell Simpson of Monticello, Margaret Hammond of Bowling Green, KY, David Simpson and Danny Simpson, both of Radcliff, KY, seven step grandchildren, Danny Simpson, Jr., Lisa Simpson, Margina Guffey, David Simpson, Jr., Cathy Peerman, Phillip Helton and Samantha Jones, two special nieces and caregivers, Marissa Hall and Pam Acton, one special nephew and caregiver, Aaron Acton, her special little buddy, John Acton and a host of other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Chester Loveless, whom she married in 1948 and who died in 1981, her second husband, Frances West, whom she married in 1983 and who died in 1988, two brothers, Arlie Anderson and Paul Anderson, whom she raised, two other brothers, Elvis Anderson and Rue Anderson, one other sister, Laura Shea and one step grandchild, David Arnold Helton. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Letcher Napier and Bro. Jason Hicks officiating. Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
