Dan Allen Barnett

Dan Allen Barnett, 53, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Monday, July 27, 2015. He was born in Mt. Victory, Kentucky on September 9, 1961, son of the late Gilbert Lee and Alene Farmer Barnett. He was a building contractor and of the Baptist faith. He was a member of the Currier and Ives Dinnerware Club. He is survived by his companion of twenty one years, Amy Weddle, two daughters, Brandi Michelle Barnett of Nashville, TN and Patsy Alene Barnett of Los Angeles, CA, two step children, Michael & (Samantha) Phipps and Nathan Phipps, two brothers, John & (Bonnie) Barnett of Burnside and Ben & (Tonya) Barnett of White Lily, KY and two sisters, Martha Louise Barnett of Corbin, KY and Darlene Barnett of Somerset; and a former father and mother-in-law, Dave & Pat Warren. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Green officiating. Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10 AM Saturday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Dan Allen Barnett Memorial Fund, c/o Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
