Ina E. Mounce, 94, of Eubank, Kentucky passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Jean Waddle Care Center.
She was born in Dykes, Kentucky on May 26, 1921, daughter of the late George Lewis and Dora Elizabeth Dykes Baker. She was a laundry worker for Modern Cleaners, a homemaker and a farmer. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, her family and friends. She was a member of Denham Street Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Bill & (Marsha) Mounce of Eubank, Charles Mounce and Phillip & (Lois) Mounce, both of Somerset, one daughter, Eulene & (H.D.) Rader of Burnside, one sister, Bertie Bray of Mt. Victory, nine grandchildren, Jamie Mounce, Brad Mounce, David Mounce, Chris Mounce, Tammy Estep, Kenny Gastineau, Keith Gastineau, Kim Mounce and Waylon Rader, five step grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Mounce, her parents, one daughter, Maxine Mounce, six brothers, Bill Baker, Clinton Baker, Frank Baker, Sid Baker, Dewey Baker and Everett Baker and five sisters, Madel Meece, Mary Hargis, Sara Alexander, Flonnie Mounce and Fern Baker.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Slade Moore officiating.
Burial will be in Eden Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Monday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
