Jerry Wayne Burton

Jerry Wayne Burton, 57, of Frankfort, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015. He was born in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky on September 6, 1957, son of Pauline Reynolds Burton and the late Wayne Burton. He was a security officer for St. Joseph Hospital. He as a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Walnut Grove Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Amy Reynolds Burton of Frankfort, his mother, Pauline Burton of Brodhead, KY and one daughter, Brandalyn Burton of Richmond, KY. He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Burton and one brother, Jimmy Dale Burton. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Marvin Cromer officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Willailla with military honors by American Legion Post #38. Visitation will be after 12 Noon Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice of the Bluegrass. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
