Bonnie Jane "Janie" Burton

Bonnie Jane "Janie" Burton, 84, of Nancy, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on June 15, 1931, daughter of the late Johnny and Lena Bell Girdler Crouch. She was the former owner of A & R Grill. She is survived by five sons, John D. "Doug" & (Sharon) Crouch of Mooresville, IN, Otis "Pee Wee" & (Rogena) Burton, Zachary & (Trish) Burton and Ricky Lee & (Shanna) Burton, all of Nancy and Christopher Allen & (Lisa) Burton of Somerset, two daughters, Marlene & (Marc) Wilson of Mooresville, IN and Jeanie Mays of Indianapolis, IN, a daughter-in-law, Jackie Crouch of Beach Grove, IN, sixteen grandchildren, twenty one great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis V. Burton, who died on July 25, 1998, her parents, one son, Dennis Martin Crouch, four brothers, Ray, George, Eldon and Zelmer Crouch and four sisters, Josie Harrison, Aileen Pitman, Jenny Hall and Ninel Hilton. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Monday, August 31, 2015 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Jamie Epperson officiating. Burial will be in Mill Springs National Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Sunday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
