Gatha Jean Couch

Gatha Jean Couch, 76, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Monday, August 31, 2015. She was born in Tribbey, Kentucky on July 14, 1939, daughter of the late Sebe and Bertha Smothers Tyler. She retired from Beyer Hospital in Ypsilanti, MI as a Dietician. She is survived by three sons, Michael Couch of Science Hill, Tim Couch of Belleville, MI and Rick Couch of Science Hill, one daughter, Denise Robertson of Somerset, four brothers, Don Tyler, Ernie Tyler, Glen Tyler and Jimmy Tyler, one sister, Wanda Beverly, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Couch, her parents, three brothers, Edward Holland, Gene Tyler and Charles Holland and one sister, Ruby Bolin. A memorial service will be held at 1 PM Friday, September 4, 2015 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Combs officiating. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
