Zella Crawford Sears

Zella Crawford Sears, daughter of the late Robert Leighton and Stella Vaught Crawford, was born in Science Hill, Kentucky on July 12, 1925 and departed this life on January 27, 2006 at the age of 80 years. She was an elementary school teacher for the Pulaski County School District. She is survived by her husband, Orville E. sears, whom she married on August 19, 1946, a son, David & (Tammy) Sears of Danville, two brothers, Bob Crawford of Ironton, Ohio and Carroll Crawford of Somerset, a grandchild, Landon Sears of Danville and a sister-in-law, Margie Crawford of Science Hill. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Linda Louise Sears, who died on April 12, 2003, a brother, Lindsey Crawford and two sisters, Lucille Crawford and Doris Ungetheim. A funeral service will be at 2 PM Sunday, January 29, 2006 with Bro. Joe Altman officiating. Burial in Providence Cemetery. Visitation after 6 PM Saturday. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
