Linda Ann Sears

Linda Ann Cook Sears, daughter of the late James and Jewell Cook, was born in Somerset, Kentucky on September 5, 1949 and departed this life on January 3, 2006 at the age of 56 years. She was employed for 25 years for Louise's Laundromat and was of the Church of God faith. She is survived by two sons, Rodney & (Cathy) Sears and Darrin & (Sharon) Sears, two daughters, Barbara Sears and Karen & (Jerry) Dick all of Shopville, three brothers, Jimmy & (Beverly) Cook, Robert & (Carol) Cook and Michael Cook all of Somerset, four sisters, Janice & (Kenneth) Sutherland of Somerset, Sue & (Frank) Bryan of Louisville, Cathy Cook of Somerset and Elaine Cook of Monticello, ten grandchildren, Cody & (DJ) Bishop, Kristy & (Randy) Brumley, Caleb Sears, Melinda &(Chris) Bunch, Brittany Bell, Kelli Sears, Danny Sears, Shawn Dick, Alyssa Floyd and Holly Floyd and two great-grandchildren, Connor Brumley and Kaydience Bunch. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Arnold Ezra Sears, who died on November 4, 2005 and her parents. A funeral service will be at 2 PM Friday, January 6, 2005 at Wesley's Chapel with Bro. Ernie Wyatt officiating. Burial in Wesley's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation after 5:30 PM Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
