Debra Ann Sims

Debra Ann Sims, daughter of Melba Taylor Leach and the late George Leach, was born in Kings Mountain, Kentucky on December 2, 1955 and departed this life on January 3, 2006 at the age of 50 years. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Danny Sims of Kings Mountain, whom she married on July 17, 1987, her mother, Melba Leach of Eubank, two sons, Andy Wayne Sims and Christopher Lee Sims both of Kings Mountain, a daughter, Misty Donnise Sparks of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, four brothers, Gregory "Skip" Leach of Tennessee, Robert Leach, Douglas Leach and Wayne Leach all of Eubank, three sisters, Regina Ashley of Eubank, Nancy Kidd of Science Hill and Donna Ashley of Eubank and four grandchildren, Thomas, Jr., Morgan, Emily and Kendal. She was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Jenny Leach. A funeral service will be at 4 PM Friday, January 6, 2005 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Ashley and Bro. Donald Ray Ashley officiating. Burial in Double Springs Cemetery. Visitation after 6:30 PM Thursday. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
