Lloyd L. Dick

Lloyd L. Dick, 68, of Leffel Lane in Springfield, Ohio, passed away Monday, February 23, 2009 at his daughter's residence. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 12, 1940, son of the late Luther L. and Matrie Dick. He was a truck driver for American Standard Truck Line and a U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Wright Dick of Springfield, OH, two sons, Jason Lloyd Dick and Kevin L. Dick, both of Middletown, Ohio and three daughters, Dawn Marie Ratley, Amy Renee Bolen, both of Middletown, Ohio and Shawna Kelly Young of Oklahoma, four step children, Timothy Boeke, Kimberly Wade and Joseph Boeke, all of Springfield, OH and Tamela Gutierrez of California, one brother, Charles Dick of Owensboro, KY, three sisters, Jean Wesley and Nancy Hall, both of Science Hill and Francis Koch of Ohio, twenty four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Roger Dick and one sister, Laura Dick. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, February 28, 2009 at Shady Grove United Methodist Church with Bro. Ronald Wesley officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery with military honors by American Legion Post #38. Visitation will be after 10 AM Saturday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
