Classie Patterson

Classie Pittman Edens Patterson, 86, of Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Pulaski County, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, March 1, 2009. She was born on April 26, 1922, daughter of the late Virgil and Ida Thompson Pittman. She was a homemaker and a member of Carthage Baptist Church. She is survived by ten children, Joy Bernard, Charlene & (Jr.) Watkins, Dwight Edens, Jeannie & (Marlon) Ruth, David Edens, Randy Edens, Pam & (Bill) Sargent, Tammy Hendricks and the late William, Shirrell Ray and Murrell Edens, twenty six grandchildren, thirty seven great-grandchildren, eleven great-great-grandchildren, two sisters, Ila Loveless and Violet Canfield and two brothers, Beecher and Junior Pittman. She was preceded in death by two grandsons, two great-granddaughters, four brothers and two sisters. A graveside service will be held at 1 PM Thursday, March 5, 2009 at Mintonville Cemetery. Burial will be in Mintonville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:30 PM Wednesday at Hodapp Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, P.O.
