Molane Delk Arnett

Molane Delk Arnett, 73, formerly of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on February 15, 1942, daughter of the late John Henry and Eula Owen Delk of Casey County. She was an English teacher for Jefferson County Schools. She was a talented painter, an avid reader and an animal lover. She loved Native American history and culture and was proud of her distant Cherokee heritage. She is survived by one daughter, Angela Arnett-Garner of Waynesburg and one grandchild, William David Arnett, Jr. She is also survived by her cats, Yogi Bear, Sweetin Bear, Powder Puff, Midnight, Whiskers and Pancake and her granddogs. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Gleason Arnett and one son, William David Arnett. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mintonville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:30 AM Saturday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
