Iona D. Hall

Iona D. Hall, 70, of Doug Hall Road in Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Friday, March 6, 2009 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Casey County, Kentucky on October 16, 1938, daughter of the late Arville and Dorothy Wesley Haggard. She was a homemaker. She loved to quilt, garden and talk to her friend Martha Spears. She is survived by two sons, Doug Hall of Science Hill and Jeff & (Pam) Hall of Somerset, one daughter, Debra & (Bobby) Wesley of Science Hill, one brother, Glenn & (Charlice) Haggard of Science Hill, one sister-in-law, Vina Haggard of Science Hill, five grandchildren, Brian & (Tara) Wesley, Kellie & (Brian) Bullock, Samantha & (Josh) Sumner, Stephanie Hall, Chance Hall and one great grandchild, Matthew Bullock. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Roscoe Hall, who died on November 11, 1976, her parents, two brothers, Reid Haggard and Van Haggard and one sister-in-law, Olife Haggard. A private funeral service will be held at 1 PM Monday, March 9, 2009 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Hatter officiating. Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
