Arvel "Colin" Cress

Arvel "Colin" Cress, 51, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2009 as the result of an accident. He was born in New Albany, Indiana on June 17, 1957, son of the late Everett Cress and Evelyn Reynolds Cress Combs. He was a carpenter. He is survived by one brother, Everett Cress Jr. of New Albany, IN and two sisters, Linda & (Benny) Griffin of Missouri and Karla & (Wayne) Longest of New Albany, IN. He is also survived by uncles, aunts and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, March 12, 2009 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Reynolds Family Cemetery. Visitation will be after 9 AM Thursday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
