Linda Kay Dawes Allen

Linda Kay Dawes Allen, 60, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on September 9, 1955, daughter of the late Huey and Christine Hall Dawes. She was a former employee of Palm Beach. She is survived by her two sons, Terry Ping and Larry & (Kim) Ping, both of Somerset, four grandsons, Camron, Kaleb, Alex and Andrew Ping, one granddaughter, Karli Ping, her sister, Lucille Martin and many family and friends who will miss her. She is also survived by a special friend, Jean and one very special cousin, Jeannie Spradlin. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Russell Hall, Junior Smith, Marvin Dawes and Kenneth Dawes and one sister, Sandra Dawes. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Monday, December 7, 2015 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Bullock officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 AM Monday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Donations may be made to the Linda Kay Allen Memorial Fund, C/O Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
