Janet L. "Jenny" Singleton

Janet L. “Jenny” Singleton, 77, of Eubank, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at her residence, surrounded by her family. She was born in Eubank, Kentucky on March 4, 1938, daughter of the late Lorenza “Lee” and Roxie Myrtle Godby Loveless. She was co-owner of Singleton Plumbing & Electric and a member of Singletontown First Church of God. She loved God, her family, friends and always had a smile. If she knew you, she loved you! She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Larry Shannon Singleton, her children, Greg & (Esther) Barron, Nancy & (Allen) Hart, Kenny & (Lesa) Singleton, Gwen & (Terry) Blanton and Mike & (Nicole) Singleton, a brother, Robert & (Roxie) Loveless, two sisters, Beulah Eaton and Opal & (Wince) Rogers, nine grandchildren, Josh Hart, Heather & (Tim) Baker, Eric & (Kelli) Hart, Amber & (Shawn) Adkins, T.J. & (Felica) Blanton, Jessie & (Derek) Mobley, Amanda & (Cody) Keith, Emily Singleton, Abby Singleton, fifteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Edgar, Alfred, Chester “Check”, Charles, Lawrence “Mutt” Loveless, two sisters, Fay Loveless Gooch, Dorothy Loveless Lewis and a husband, Walter Yates. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Singletontown First Church of God with Bro. Jason Hicks officiating. Burial will be in Singletontown Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Donations may be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
