Carl Stephen Adkins

Carl Stephen Adkins, 53 of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed away Monday, April 6, 2009 at his residence. He was born in Hamilton County, Ohio on April 20, 1955, son of the late Ernest and Bobbie Ruth (Howard) Adkins. He worked in management for Cumberland Scrap Processors in Russellville, KY. He was a member of the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association, Hidden Valley Riders, ISRI, Logan Economic and Development Group and a past member of Hidden Valley POA. He is survived by his wife, Vicky (Nixon) Adkins of Lawrenceburg, IN, two daughters, Jamie Lynn Adkins of Hamilton, OH and Monica Elizabeth Nixon of Lawrenceburg, IN and one brother, Russell Allen Adkins of Cadiz, KY. A funeral service will be held at 7 PM Friday, April 10, 2009 at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home in Lawrenceburg, IN with Bro. Lassere Bradley officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 PM Friday at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Pine Thickett Cemetery. Burial will be in Pine Thickett Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the P.A.W.S. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
