Brenda I. Cooper

Brenda I. Cooper, 62, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Science Hill, Kentucky on July 9, 1946, daughter of Lois New Cooper and the late Carl Cooper. She was a nurse's aide and hairdresser and worked at Oakwood and Midtown Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Somerset, Kentucky. She was a member of Acorn Church of God of Prophecy. She is survived by her mother, Lois New Cooper of Science Hill and two brothers, Larry David & (Darlene) Cooper and Carl "Boonie" Cooper Jr., both of Somerset. She was preceded in death by her father, one brother, Gary Cooper and her grandparents, Silas and Alpha New and Luther and Irene Cooper. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Muse and Bro. Bob Messer officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 PM Friday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
