Vernell Logan

Vernell Logan, 58, of East Highway 70 in Yosemite, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2009 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Lincoln County, Kentucky on October 13, 1950, daughter of the late Marcus and Lizzie Haste McMullin. She was a homemaker. She is survived by one son, Ronnie & (Sonia) Logan of Science Hill, three brothers, Robert McMullin of Casey County, KY, Allen McMullin of Science Hill and Ronnie McMullin of Casey County, nine sisters, Evelyn Wheeler of Casey County, Martha Randolph, Mary Randolph and Dorothy Hill, all of Cincinnati, OH, Sally Abbott, Roxie Davis and Glenda Hawkins, all of Somerset, Elsie Elliott of Casey County and Bonnie Steiner of Arizona, half brother, Downie McMullin and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Jeffrey Logan and Benson Logan, two brothers, Rufus McMullin and Marvin McMullin and two sisters, Margie Jones and Goldie McMullin. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bethel Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 AM Wednesday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
