Sandy Lane Blevins

Sandy Lane Blevins, 69, of Nancy, Kentucky, passed away Friday, February 12, 2016 at her son's residence. She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on October 24, 1946, daughter of the late Arnold and Josie Stringer Lane. She was a hairdresser for 36 years at Fox's Den and Daisy's Hair Den. She was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Paul Blevins, whom she married on July 20, 1963, one son, Marc & (Kaye) Blevins, both of Nancy, one daughter, Kim & (John) Hutchinson of Eubank, one brother, Michael Lane of Somerset, four sisters, Katherine & (Beecher) Pierce, Eva Cook, Geraldine Stephens and Lucreta & (Ron) Turpin, all of Somerset and four grandchildren, Micah, Victoria, Katie and Kassie Hutchinson. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers-in-law, Marvin Cook and Bobby Stephens and sister-in-law, Kathy Lane. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
