Arlin "Jack" Woodall

Arlin "Jack" Woodall, 82, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born in the Bent community on March 13, 1933, son of the late Aaron and Ethel Barnett Woodall. He retired from Cumberland Wood & Chair as a press operator. He was also a farmer and a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church, where he was a deacon. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Janet Brinson Woodall, two sons, Gary Wayne & (Pamela) Woodall and Joseph A. Woodall, one sister, Ella B. Slavey, all of Somerset, four grandchildren, Jonathan Woodall & (Crystal), Veronica Woodall Reynolds & (Alan), Garianna Bray & (Josh) and Erin Woodall & (Ben Madden) and five great-grandchildren, Jacob, Harlie, Jolene, Haley and Peyton. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Clinton, Denton, Arvin, Omer C. and Marlin Woodall and three sisters, Rosey Bray, Eva Lexey Meece and Loretha Mounce. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Friday, February 19, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Don Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Pine Thickett Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
