Lester Hilton Prows, son of the late Willie and Lona Mae Gibson Prows, was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on January 5, 1932 and departed this life on March 26, 2006 at the age of 74 years.
He was retired from Witts Galvanize in Norwood, Ohio and Keith Pallet Mill in Eubank, Kentucky. He was also a pastor of different churches. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
He is survived by his wife, Ethel Fern Denney Prows of Eubank, a son, Gary & (Linda) Prows of Stanford, three daughters, Linda Hayes of North Carolina, Wanda & (Jim) Farley of Brodhead and Geneva & (Terry) Orcutt of Danville, three brothers, William & (Ann) Prows of Indianapolis, Indiana, Roy & (Juanita) Prows of Indiana and Jimmy & (Juanita) Prows of Cincinnati, Ohio, a sister, Alberta & (Robert) Price of the Woodstock community, a brother-in-law, Cecil Lovins of Loveland, Ohio, nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Luther Prows, two sisters, Dorothy McKinney and Pearlie Lovins and two sisters who died in infancy.
A funeral service will be at 2 PM Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Nelson Reynolds and Bro. Terry Orcutt officiating.
Burial in Woodstock Cemetery.
Visitation after 5 PM Tuesday.
