Chester H. Dodson

Chester H. Dodson, son of the late Elmer and Della Johnson Dodson, was born in Quenton, Kentucky on February 10, 1935 and departed this life on March 27, 2006 at the age of 71 years. He was a retired foreman for Rock-Ola, a member of Lakeview Baptist Church and attended Grace Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Christine Smith Dodson of Science Hill whom he married on December 31, 1965, a son, Daniel Dale Dodson of Chicago, Illinois, a daughter, Doris Marie Dodson, five grandchildren, Adam Dodson, Kimberly George, Nathan Rivera, Daniel Rivera and Malena Rivera and a great-grandchild, Sarah George. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Jimmy Dodson, who was his twin brother, Russell, Joe and Marvin Dodson and six sisters, Glenna Hardwick, Deloris Turner, Marion Volker, Fayrene Colyer, Maxine Colyer and Connie Bryant. A funeral service will be at 2 PM Thursday, March 30, 2006 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Don Berry officiating. Burial in McKinney Cemetery. Visitation after 6 PM Wednesday. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
