Flora Christine Ashley

Flora Christine Ashley, 76, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Jean Waddle Care Center. She was born in Eubank, Kentucky on July 10, 1939, daughter of the late Howard and Effie Smith Dick. She was a homemaker and a member of Polly Ann Church of God. She is survived by four sons, Michael & (Patsy) Dick of Kings Mountain, KY, Ricky & (Sandy) Young of Somerset, Ray & (Sherry) Young of Eubank and Lee & (Tabbatha) Young of Yosemite, KY, one brother, Dexter Dick of Kings Mountain, two sisters, Pauline Padgett of McKinney, KY and Joyce Glass of Liberty, KY, three step children, twelve grandchildren, one step grandchild and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Rufus Young and Leo Ashley, her parents, two daughters, Pam Turpin and Tammy Surber and one sister, Helen Dick. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Linville Dalton officiating. Burial will be in Cuba Cemetery. Visitation will be after 9 AM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
