Betty Jo Mullins

Betty Jo Mullins, 62, of Bethelridge, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on March 4, 1953, daughter of the late Earl and Ruthie Mae Godbey Spears. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethelridge United Methodist Church. She enjoyed making crafts, having family over for a visit and playing bingo. She is survived by her husband, Richard Mullins, step son, Ricky N. & (Kristen) Mullins of Lexington, KY, five brothers, James & (Shirley) Spears, Prentice Lee & (Wanda) Spears, Billy Gene & (Diane) Spears, Doie & (Linda) Spears and Roy, Jr. & (Marlene) Spears, all of Ohio, three sisters, Nancy Foster, Wanda Garrett and Iva Spears-Clements, all of Bethelridge, She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Johnnie Taylor, two brothers, Travis Denzil Spears and William Hershel Spears and two brothers-in-law, Bobby Foster and Jim Clements. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Gene Sweet officiating. Burial will be in Bethelridge Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 AM Saturday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
