James Thomas Roberts

James Thomas Roberts, 67, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on April 11, 1948, son of the late Fred and Laura Wesley Roberts. He was a carpenter for Ralph Todd Construction. He is survived by his wife, Sue Wesley Roberts of Science Hill, one son, James Todd Roberts of Science Hill, one daughter, Tammy Lynn Roberts Sims & (Wendell) of Kings Mountain, KY, three brothers, Hobert James Roberts of Eubank, Robert Lee "Bob" Roberts of Mt. Zion and Danny Ray Roberts & (Kim) of Science Hill, four sisters, Reva Smith & (Wayne), Irene Wiles & (Elbert), Ivadene Wesley & (Danny) and Betty Wiles & (Bobby), all of Science Hill and two grandchildren, Kaleb Sims and Joshua Sims. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Fred Berle Roberts, Jr. and Raymond Roberts, two sisters, Eva Smith and Deva Smith and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Earl E. and Bessie Wesley. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Monday, March 14, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Daniel Smith officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 AM Monday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
