Carroll Lee Vaught

Carroll Lee "Hob" Vaught, 79, of Science Hill, passed away Tuesday March 15, 2016 at the Jean Waddle Care Center. He was born on August 14, 1936 in Ansel, KY; son of the late Roscoe and Sara Weddle Vaught. He was retired from DuBois, and attended Bethelridge United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Spears Vaught; two sons, James & (Brenda) Vaught of Florence, KY and, Carroll Ray & (Faye) Haste of Bethelridge; a daughter, Melanie & (Craig) Binder of Cincinnati, OH; three sisters, JoAnn Hensley, Juanita Hopper, and Creola Dunsmore; three grandchildren, Brandon Lee Vaught, Nicole Lynn Smith, and Sarah Leigh DuPuy-Rasmussen; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Lloyd Vaught, and Coy Vaught; and a sister, Bea Irvine A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Friday, March 18, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bethelridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimers Association or The Parkinson's Disease Foundation. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
