Dale Edward Lewis

Dale Edward Lewis, 68, of Science Hill, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at his residence. He was born on April 1, 1947; son of the late Delbert and Ruby McElvain. He retired as a truck driver after 35 years, and was currently working as a CDL Instructor for Lake Cumberland CDL Training School. He was a motorcycle enthusiast, and loved his family, his home, and his animals. He had multitudes of friends, and brothers, just not by blood. He leaves his family to mourn his passing, including: his loving wife of 32 years, Diana Lewis; a sister, Brenda Lewis Edwards of Elizabethtown; two brothers, Gregory Lewis of Science Hill, and Randy Lewis; a niece, Tia D. Cisco of Blountville, TN; and a nephew, Caleb Lewis of Colorado. A celebration of life service will be held from 4 PM to 8 PM Friday, March 18, 2016 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Science Hill Cemetery with Bro. Ed Massey officiating. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
