Darrell Wayne Wesley

Darrell Wayne Wesley, 64, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Jean Waddle Care Center. He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on December 1, 1951, son of the late Jesse James and Minnie Lee Gaddis Wesley. He was dairy Manager for Kroger for over 40 years. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Faye Dick Wesley, whom he married in Jellico, Tennessee on May 2, 1970, two children, one son, Darrell Dewayne Wesley of Science Hill, one daughter, Amanda & (Tim) Martin of Richmond, KY, three grandchildren, Nicholas Dewayne Wesley, Taylor Noah Wesley and Devin Chase Wesley, one step grandson, Tristan Barron, two step granddaughters, Kelsey Snyder and Kelley Michelle Wilson, one great-grandson, Callum Tate Sears, three sisters, Burnetta & (Johnny) Keeney, Brenda & (Vernon) Godby and Janet Anderson, all of Somerset and two brothers, Joe Steve Wesley of Somerset and Ronnie & (Geneva) Wesley of Science Hill. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Nola Irene Blevins and one brother, Clyde Eugene Wesley. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Friday, March 18, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Damon Jones officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 AM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Donations may be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
