Ralph Brent Roy

Ralph Brent Roy, 80, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016. He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on July 31, 1935, son of the late John and Lida Stephens Roy. He was a welder for GE in Cincinnati, Ohio, retiring 25 years ago. He then became a motorcycle and car enthusiast and cattle farmer. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Kennedy Stegbauer Roy of Somerset, four children, Brent Roy of Cincinnati, OH, Johnny Roy of Albuquerque, NM, Brenda & (Joe) Brizzolara of Grand Rapids, MI and Mike & (Lynn) Roy of Reading, OH, three sisters, Geraldine Nicholas of Dayton, OH, Lana Faye West of the Somerset area and Carol Lane of Somerset, three step children, Randall Stegbauer of Mason, OH, Rebecca Turner of Tampa, FL and Denise Griffiths of Avon, OH, fifteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Mark Roy. A celebration of life will be held from 12 to 3 PM Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Woodstock School, 13215 N. Hwy. 39, Somerset, KY 42503.
