Opal Louise "Susie" Norton

Opal Louise "Susie" Norton, 90, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Monday, May 23, 2016 at Cumberland Nursing & Rehab. She was born in Madison, Indiana on March 13, 1926, daughter of the late Raymond Andrew and Opal Helen Gibson Willick. She was a homemaker and a member of Cumberland Church of Christ. She is survived by special neighbors, Bill and Regina Vanhooser, Brian Vanhooser and Kendra Sutton, nieces and nephews, Beulah Chadwell of Cincinnati, OH, Oma Vaught of Somerset, Nadine Woodall of Brodhead, KY, Keith Norton of Somerset and Howard Norton of Eaton, OH and a host of great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris H. Norton, whom she married on January 29, 1949 and who died on June 17, 1998, her parents and two sisters, Maude Helen Louden and Doris Mae Perry. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff White officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 AM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
