Rosie Woodall Bray, daughter of the late Aaron and Ethel Barnett Woodall, was born in Eula, Kentucky on December 29, 1918 and departed this life on April 5, 2006 at the age of 87 years.
She was a homemaker and a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church, where she had taught Sunday School for about 40 years.
She is survived by two sons, Rayford & (Carolyn) Bray of Eubank and Edsel & (Rhonda) Bray of Hamilton, Ohio, two daughters, Della B. & (Denver) Hargis and Margaret Bray both of Eubank, four brothers, Arvin & (Vera) Woodall of Loveland, Ohio and Clifford & (Edna) Woodall, Jack & (Janette) Woodall and Marlin & (Vera) Woodall all of Somerset, a sister, Ella B. Slavey of Somerset, eight grandchildren, Dan & (Vickie) Bray, Don & (Julie) Bray, Doug & (Anita) Bray, Brad Bray, Pamela Rose & (Kenneth) Crawford, Laura & (Ted) Pollett, Anita Leslie & (Ken) Loveless and Staci Sims and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Bray, whom she married on August 7, 1939 and who died on June 2, 1982, her parents, a daughter, Lue Emma Sims, two brothers, Denton and Clinton Woodall, two sisters, Lexie Meece and Lueretha Mounce, two grandchildren, Ann and Sherry Hargis and a great-grandchild, Justin Bray.
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, April 8, 2006 at Pine Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Raymond Hail and Bro. Phillip Fisher officiating.
Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
Visitation after 6 PM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
