Brian Scott Delver

Brian Scott Delver of Somerset, Kentucky, was born on October 30, 1971 at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, KY. He departed this life, earning his home in the Kingdom of Heaven on June 16, 2016 at the age of 44. Scottie was raised in the small, rural town of Beatyville, KY and moved to Somerset in 2001. He attended Lee County High School and upon graduation, continued onto college at Lee's College in Jackson, KY. It was here that he played college baseball for the Lee's College Generals. He was a kind, loving soul who positively impacted everyone he encountered. He is survived by his parents, William Ellis and Linda Lee Gabbard Delver, one sister, Lisa Robin Smith & (Doug), one brother, William Edward Delver, aunt, Katie Powell & (John) and uncle, Don Delver & (Jeanne). He is also survived by his wife, Anna Jo Delver, two step children, Justin Ray Forman and Alicia Lucinda Haste, a sister-in-law, Billie Jean Howard, nieces, Kendra Delver, Meagan Delver, Amber Henson, Madison Henson and Emma Bond, nephews, Wesley Scott Delver, Landon Haste, Kieran Bowling and William Henson and cousins, Jason Powell and Janice Powell. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Monday, June 20, 2016 at the Science Hill Christian Church with Bro. Gordy Prather and John Powell officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 AM Monday at the Science Hill Christian Church. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
