Stanley Russ Turner, 10, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Monday, June 20, 2016.
He was born in Crossville, Tennessee on October 28, 2005, son of Katrina Mosley. He was a student at Eubank Elementary School and a member of Vaught Ridge Church of Christ. He liked Scooby-Doo, knives and farming. One of his favorite songs was Pick Up Man by Joe Diffie.
He is survived by his mother, Katrina Mosley, grandparents, Bobby and Karen Godsey, great-grandparents, Bob and Betty Jo Godsey, sister, Trinity Turner, brother, John Turner, aunt, Becky Thurman, cousins, Austin Thurman and Michael Thurman, all of Science Hill, great-grandmother, Jeannie Mosley of Dayton, OH, aunt and uncle, David and Shannon Collins of Knoxville, TN, great-great-uncle, Tom Godsey of Science Hill, cousins, Emma, Alivia and Braxton Collins of Knoxville, TN, cousins, Dakota, Destiny and Riley of Somerset and several other uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Hunter Turner, grandfather, Gary Stanley Mosley, great-grandmother, Geraldine Collins-Sutphin, great-grandfather, Herman Mo Mosley and great-uncle, Brad Collins.
A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Jonathan Brinson officiating.
Burial will be in Vaught Ridge Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 5 PM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
